Edibles Peanut Budder Bars

Peanut Budder Bars

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) canna butter melted over low heat
  • 2 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 2 cups crumbled graham crackers
  • 1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter (can be chunky or smooth)
  • 4 tbsp. additional peanut butter
  • Directions:

Mix the canna butter, sugar, graham crackers, and 1 cup of peanut butter in a mixing bowl until thoroughly blended. Place and press down into an ungreased 9 x 13 baking pan (or the closest size you have). Next, take a double boiler to melt the chocolate chips and 4 tbsp. of peanut butter (you can also use a metal bowl siting in simmering water or the microwave for this step). Stir every minute or two during this process, ensuring it comes out smooth and well-blended. Spread this mixture over the mixture in the baking pan, subsequently placing your concoction in the refrigerator for 1.5 to 2 hours. Take out of the refrigerator and cut into squares of your preference.

I tried this recipe out because I thought it sounded delicious. I was awfully disappointed, though. The flavors did just not work well together at all. Also, it stuck hard to my pan and I couldn't cut it nicely, so I pretty much just ended up eating it by the handful instead of by the bar.

The Marijuana book is available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble (see links at end). Thanks.

I'll definitely have to check that out. Is it in Barnes & Noble or do I have to get it online?

I love peanut butter and chocolate together (who doesn't) so these are right up my alley! I can't wait for the weekend so I can make these! I try not to eat edibles as much during the week, have to stay sharp for class :)
