The Absolute Collective is an easy to find location with plenty of parking for patients. Instantly liked the chill atmosphere. A helpful and friendly staff helped get me though the sometimes lenghty paperwork process very fast. I was surprised to get a 5 gram 1/8th on any selection as a first time patron. Most generous compared with the usual 4 gram gift and I was impressed with the professional compassionate attention. Indicas like Pineapple Kush and Private Reserve go for $20 a gram. They had some good Sativas, like Train Wreck, Snow Cap and Goo for same price. Hybrid choices for $15 include Headband, Blue Cheese and a rare strain of Mystical. All buds looked well manicured and had a strong aroma. I didn't see or hear about daily specials or any patient appreciation days, but many Collectives don't use gimicks, instead they rely upon top shelf products, caring budtenders and generosity. Made me feel right at home and enjoyed my time there. Will go back next time I am in the vicinity.

I am a loyal person and patient, and give my business to collectives who abide by the same principles. Absolute Collective understands how to achieve loyalty through professionalism and through understanding their patient, wherein their service lies expertly. Their location is one of the easiest I have ever been to located right off the 5 just a few blocks from Balboa Park - this place has cemented a perfect niche. I only wish they were open later because my work closes so late at night, hence they might be seeing lots of Hawaiian shirts! But, I understand, so no real complaints here. Upon entering their office, the mood of the place was professional, casual, and laid back all at the same time. Maybe it was the cleanliness, positive staff, and inviting decorations that were laid about. First time forms were a cinch and I was let back into the bud-room quickly. With another patient waiting behind me, I was the only one let into the room which made the atmosphere much more calm and direct where I did not have to compete for the bud-tenders attention to ask any of my questions, and I asked quite a few. Here, it was the one on one that made me more relaxed. I suffered from a horrible car accident two years ago and my back nor my shoulders have ever been the same. With trouble sleeping, all the necessary medicines were available with plenty of tasty looking choices to choose from. I require a strong indica for sleep and went with some blueberry muffin. Try it. I do like a little variety and appreciate sativa for daytime activity without having to feel heavy which the Trainwreck fit the bill perfectly. That, and when the bud-tender showed me some Sticky Icky he had which was a indica dominant hybrid with an Afgoo origin, my eyes lit up. My favorite strains are Kush, Sour Diesel, and Afgoo, so upon seeing the Sticky Icky, and even more smelling it, my nose verified the Afgoo background to where my impulses could not deny trying some. I love the very nice earthy smell it gives off - very fresh too. MMMMmmm! I told the bud-tender my range of donation and he quickly assorted the best mixed packaged with an encouraging first time bonus. The Sticky Icky was in my price range again, and I could not deny. The jar was nearing its end which had a lot of popcorn nugs in it, and for that, I was complimented with a very nice weigh which just lit me up inside. It is exciting when collectives do not fret the small stuff and hook patients up because it makes us more excited to be there. Oh, and I'll be back! The prices are not bad at all, and there was a 40 eighth special I checked out which was very nice for that range. Some places put trash up for their 40's leaving you no choice but to get something more expensive, but I would grab theirs in a heartbeat if I didn't like Afgoo so much. So for any range, they have something to suit your needs with a nice variety to choose from, no matter what ails you. I know that I will be retuning there again and hope to win one of those eighth drawings!! Just another cool token of appreciation!
