Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The high that White Afghan produces is strictly that of a roaring body high, lasting around an hour. Sleep is often inevitable during the comedown.
While it's rare to find a 100% indica strain in most dispensaries nowadays, White Afghan is one of the few and the proud. This strain has dense, tight little buds and short brown pistils. The trichomes are a gold/silver/bronze color, giving these buds excellent bag appeal. The breeder chose a Rascal's White Widow mother to be pollinated by a vigorously growing Afghani male. The male was such an impressive specimen that it actually had a decent amount of trichomes on it! This is something not often seen on males.
For those of us growers who may be slightly impatient to wait for flowering to complete, this strain would be a good one to try. It has a flowering time of just 7 to 8 weeks, but a THC content that can be as high as 16%. Usually when strains flower for a brief amount of time, they are less potent than their counterparts that have more time to build potency. These ladies will do great in a Sea of Green or SCRoG grow, where the yield will increase. Feed these ladies moderate amounts of nutrients. For growers looking for a strain to grow aeroponically, White Afghan has shown to thrive in such a setting.
