This strain has excellent bag appeal, as well as smoke appeal. The buds are large, chunky and have crimson-colored pistils, with a layer of thick trichomes underneath. Depending on when they were harvested and if they were grown outdoors or not, they may be completely purple, with crimson pistils, which makes for quite a sight. The aroma is of flowers, soda and chemicals, while the flavors is sweet and candy-like. Watermelon Haze would make a great wake-n-bake strain, as it gets users up and moving about, while producing down-to-earth, clear thinking.

When being cultivated indoors, it's best to limit the time in vegetation to around two weeks, as these ladies will regularly reach seven feet tall, when grown in a two-gallon container. Flowering time will consistently be between 13 and 14 weeks. Outdoors they will be ready by the middle of November and should be cultivated in areas where temperatures do not reach below 40 degrees, during this timeframe. Watermelon Haze will do best when fed light nutrient levels and utilized in a SCRoG type grow. Look for clones or seeds of this sativa, wherever they are available.
