The Red Eyed Bride
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: TREB has excellent flavors earth, spice and fruit with a hashy aftertaste and a high that reaches full effect within a few minutes of smoking. Through a vaoporizer this the hash and fruit flavors are truly brought to life.
Named more for the heavy, intoxicating effect it produces more than the actual appearance, this lovely lady is the perfect one to become permanantly married to. The buds are white with resin and provide a psychedelic head high, with a buzzing body high that can last for hours. It's no wonder, since this bud was bred by master grower and breeder, DJ Short, who did a collaboration with Legends Seeds in creating the final product. You see, DJ Short received 100 mystery seeds as a gift and chose 30 of them to breed and backcross with each other until a supreme product was reached. They definitely outdid themselves on this one and named this lady quite appropriately for the effect she gives.
The breeder recommends to cultivate The Red Eyed Bride in a Sea of Green garden to achieve the maximum yield. They can be somewhat finicky with the amount of nutrients and should be gradually brought up to a moderate level. They’ll also flourish in a hydro setup, especially when combined with a SoG setup, truly maximizing the otherwise modest yield. However, the quality of this weed shows through around week 6 of flowering when the stink - albeit a pleasant one - begins to flow through the entire house and even out of it, unless a carbon filter system is used.
The flavors of this top-shelf bud include those of fruit flowers, spice, wood and earth and provide an effect that leans slightly more towards the sativa end of the spectrum, despite the fact that it’s an indica-dominant strain. Look for eighths of this bud to go for around $55 at most dispensaries, but you’ll honestly want to buy more than that, just so you know that if the club runs out, at least you’ll have a bunch of this lovely strain.
