This bud is the main phenotype produced from Free Leonard. Amazingly, unlike most phenotypes of strains, The Big is completely stabilized. Free Leonard is a cross of G13 x Butterscotch Hawaiian, so technically The Big shares these same genetics. The flavor is of sweet candy, spice and charred wood, with an effect that rivals that of it's G13 genetics, if not more so. The Big has gigantically fat buds with long lavender/pink pistils and an intensely thick layering of trichomes. Not only are the buds huge, but they are dense as well, making this bud quite a hot commodity among growers. It's recommended to vegetate these ladies 4 - 6 weeks, since they don't grow very tall and the extra veg time will only increase yield that much more. After vegetating The Big will produce flowers for 8 to 9 weeks. It starts to get a powerful aroma of butterscotch and dank around week 5 or 6, at which point the fan leaves will also start to turn colors of crimson, lavender and orange, much like an Indian Summer seen in Canada, where this strain has been bred. Don't hesitate to feed these ladies massive amounts of nutrients, while ensuring they receive a solid 3-week flush. The Big was named so for a reason: it produces BIG buds.
