Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: If you're not much of a talker, you certainly will be after toking upon Tank. This uplifting, cerebrally-stimulating sativa offers fun social times or creativity and concentration, when desired. This is an ideal strain for productivity.
VIP Seeds used a carefully-selected White Widow mother to be bred with an undisclosed sativa variety. The crossing of these two strains created Tank, which is renowned for its large yields, great cerebral potency and ease of cultivation. Tanks also boasts large chunky buds, that have blood-red pistils coming out of the foliage. This creates a highly unique strain in both appearance and flavors. The predominant flavor is of sweet, fruity candy. A slight aftertaste of spicy incense is present, lingering on the tongue, barely noticeable, for quite some time.
Despite the large yields and mind-numbing potency for which Tank has become known, this sativa-dominant variety has one major downfall. Tank is not a completely stabilized strain, meaning it kicks out a few different phenotypes. This first, and most common, phenotype is a sativa-dominant variety that takes ten to eleven weeks to flower and has almost completely cerebral effects. The second, and last, phenotype has almost 50/50 genetics between sativa and indica, producing a shorter, stouter plant with strong cerebral and moderate body effects. Eight or nine weeks is typical flowering for this pheno. Both phenos will provide gargantuan yields of around two pounds per plant, when cultivated outdoors. Indoors, Tank will do best in a SCRoG type grow, in soil mediums. Sea of Green gardens are not conducive to this strain. Gardeners growing Tank indoors should add more light than is normally required for most strains. Tank will reward such growers with a drastically increased yield from the already heavy harvest.
