The breeder crossed a Strawberry Cough mother with a vigorous Afghani male, to produce the strain known as Swiss Strawberry. This bud has long pink pistils and dense, oval-shaped buds that have a moderate, but not overwhelming, amount of trichomes. Swiss Strawberry smells like a fresh grape vineyard, despite its strawberry name implications. This bud is one of the most consistent around, in terms of flowering time. It displays a very consistent 7-week flowering time that is usually preceded by 3 - 4 weeks of veg, when grown indoors. No need to worry about mildew when growing Swiss Strawberry in a greenhouse, as it has an impeccable resistance to bud rot and mildew, even during late flowering with swollen calyxes.
