Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: A hard-hitting but clear thought provoking effect hits users with a clear high for as long as an hour-and-a-half. This is a perfect strain to start off the day or keep the day going.
The mother was an African cross of two other African strains, that was then crossed to an African landrace male that was used in the original crossing of the mother. This is a strain that is somewhat, but not completely, stabilized. It has large, airy buds that are chock-full of potent trichomes and long pinkish-yellow pistils. This strain puts off a tantalizing aroma of lemons, oranges and roses. Flavors are of citrus, with a hint of berries and spice on the aftertaste. Swacky is often used with patients who have ADD/ADHD or are suffering from depression.
Cultivating Swacky is surely going to require skill and good ol' fashioned know-how on the gardener's part. For one thing, this strain should be cultivated on a 12/12 light schedule immediately upon germination. The breeder does not recommend growing these ladies in pots larger than a gallon, when cultivated indoors and strongly suggests growers start these ladies in whatever pot they will be finished in, as they won't take particularly well to transplanting. They'll flower anywhere from 11 to 13 weeks, indoors. Around week 8, growers should reduce the light schedule to 10 hours on, 14 hours off. They will grow with one large, main cola, with some smaller side branches coming off and providing a decent overall yield. Soil or hydro cultivation will work with these ladies, when grown indoors. Outdoor gardeners should see a harvest by the beginning of November, in the Northern Hemisphere, and the end of May, when grown below the equator.
