Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Despite a short-lasting high, Sour Cali provides excellent flavors and has a healing, medicinal effect.
Sour Cali has buds that are relatively dark in color, but have good density and an average amount of trichomes. The smell is of sour wine, with highly similar flavors. There is a lasting aftertaste of sweet strawberries, which compliments the sour aspects of this strain. Sour Cali is by no means a powerhouse or connoisseur-grade strain. It would be much more suited to a medical marijuana patient who prefers a mellow buzz that isn't going to cause a perpetual case of couch-lock. This is also an ideal daytime smoke for most cannabis users.
Sour Cali will take anywhere from eight to ten weeks to flower, when cultivated indoors and will be ready for outdoor harvest by the second week of October, at the latest. This is a strain which will do best when cultivated in soil and watered frequently. Not particularly prone to mildew or bud rot, Sour Cali may thrive in a greenhouse, but growers should monitor its condition closely, so as to prevent any possible humidity problems. Gardeners can expect an average yield of bud that is slightly above average in potency. Good for the non-commercial home grower.
