SoCal Giesel
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The flavor is almost purely of the Chem-4, with just a slight skunky aftertaste. The high kicks in immediately and is just a touch on the indica side of the spectrum. This strain has a nice, mellow comedown that can lull some users into a relaxed state or even sleep.
These buds often appear a golden-green color, layered with sticky trichomes. SoCal Giesel smells mostly of its Massachusetts Super Skunk mother, while the high and flavor more closely resemble the Chem-4 male that was used in this cross. This is a relatively new strain to the SoCal medical marijuana strain and fortunately has made its way to most of the West Coast. Eighths of SoCal Giesel will range from $50 to $65.
While the flowering time may vary on these ladies (8 - 10 weeks), one thing that doesn't tend to vary is the quality of this medicine, when grown properly. These ladies love to feast on nutrients and are not particularly sensitive to nute-burn. If you are going to heavily feed them, however, ensure that they receive at least a 3-week flush with only molasses added once or twice during the flush. These ladies can be somewhat prone to powder mildew so adequate ventilation should be given to prevent against PM and later bud rot.
