The buds of Rug Burn OG look very similar to other varieties of OG Kush, including the original. They are slightly elongated, fairly dense and have dark orange pistils. The layer of trichomes is very thick and sticky, making rolling a joint difficult at times. Better to just stick these buds in a vaporizer or bong and prepare to get ripped. The breeder used a Ghost OG female to breed with a Rare Dankness #1 male. The result is a strain that has two specific phenotypes. The first of these phenotypes is the more common of the two; an indica dominated, classic Kush variety that has a 7 - 8 week flowering period, fairly low yield and increased CBD content. The second pheno that is sometimes seen from Rug Burn OG seeds is a nearly pure sativa type that grows incredibly tall and lanky and has a higher yield, although diminished CBD content. The THC content doesn't seem to vary between the two types. Look for Rug Burn OG in non-feminized seed or clone form. Eighths are typically seen at dispensaries for $45.
