Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: A slow and steady effect slowly creeps up to become a legitimate high, taking around 20 minutes to do so. The high produced from Regulator OG is a pleasant balance of cerebral and body effects.
This strain was created using a San Fernando Valley OG mother, which the breeder spent over a year in selecting. The male, a Bubba Kush, was selected to breed with the SFV OG. This breeding produced a strain with incredibly tight, round and dense buds with a few short orange pistils. Flavors of Regulator OG are strikingly similar to lemon pound cake, leaving a sharp lemon aftertaste on the palate for quite some time.
This strain is a notorious low yielder, but shouldn't be left in vegetation for an extended period of time, to create a bigger yield. Instead of vegging longer, it's recommended to supercrop this one, which will help the yield, but not significantly. Vegetate these ladies around four weeks, before forcing flowering, where they'll commence to flower for nine or ten weeks. Outdoor gardens will end their flowering cycle around the middle to end of October. This is a strain with a somewhat low calyx-to-leaf ratio, which will make for more hash and edible trimmings.
