Recon has been a favorite in Amsterdam coffee shops for years, and when you hear the lineage of this impressive strain you will understand why. It is the product of Mutant L.A. Confidential (mother) and Cannadential (father). The story behind the "mutant" part of L.A. Confidential is that there were 3 different seeds from a single plant and the slightly deformed, or "mutant", seed was the only feminized one.

This bud is also good for beginning or first-time growers, as it can be grown either indoors or outdoors. It also has an uniquely low leaf-to-bud ratio, making for less maintenance required by the grower. Recon produces extremely high yields with trichrome-rich nugs that span the length of the plant, oftentimes nearly all the way to the soil. Recon has also shown that it does extremely well when grown hydroponically and is an ideal candidate for cloning

Patient beware, Recon is highly potent with THC content of up to 30% but usually around 23 - 25%. Recon is a sativa-dominant strain but has properties of an indica and is ideal for pain management, but also is known to significantly help those with eating disorders, nausea, depression/anxiety, migraines and insomnia. It is known to have one of the sweeter more floral scents, but don't be fooled, Recon has the pontential to get you incredibly medicated. It has a nice body high with uplifting yet mellow cerebral stimulation occurring.
