Purple Urkle comes from Mendo Purps pheno and is native to the notorious green triangle in northern California. It is characterized by unusually long orange hairs covering small, dense, purple nugs when properly grown and harvested. The color is a purple much like that found on quality strains of Lavender, although despite common misconception, the two are not related.

The plant thrives best when grown indoors, but seems to do just fine outdoors as well. Purple Urkle is notoriously slow to grow, being known to take as long as 5 months to finish. It is not a particularly high yielder either, usually producing no more than 1/2 a pound when grown indoors. This strain is physically typical of an indica strain, being short, thick and bushy. It is a clone-only strain exclusive to California dispensaries, so the only way you will be adding this hard-hitting strain to your garden is to find some good-looking clones at your local club.

This Indica strain is not for the novice patient, as many smokers have reported the effects of Purple Urkle being rather intense or even overwhelming. It is a great medicine for nighttime use or for chronic pain. This strain gives off an unmistakable skunky aroma with subtle hints of fruit. This is a favorite among budtenders and other experienced patients.

i keep reading and hearing purple urkle is a clone only plant,a few years ago a good friend gave me a purple urkle clone and i found one seed in the bud that came from it, it happend to be a female and to this day the best seed ive ever plated.

Advisory to take precaution when using this strain of cannabis med.. True Urkle has tested potency rivaling some of the most potent OG types but is not related. The only true Urkle I have seen is from the north. You can get it from Americone (commercially prepared medicinal) joints. Other than that the true strain has been proven to be a hard find. Urkle is actually not of the conventional purple family as some may rightly think so. Potency comparable to most any strain is practically off the charts, in the deep 20's It is hard as stone. My current favorite strain when grown and harvested correctly. Beautiful bud, awesome taste, and super potent smell. A little goes a long way with this strain. Helps me amazingly with my anxiety and insomnia.

The Purple Urkle is definitely one of my most favorite strains of Marijuana. She grows really well and I get amazing yields off her every year. I'm a fan of Indica and the "Grapey" taste in Marijuana, and this strain absolutely is THE BEST. I also love the way the nugs from the plants are literally like rocks in your hand after a proper manicure....so dense....so Skunky...I can't get enough of her.

This stuff is highly interesting as This is an Indica and I'm not a fan it lasted pretty long and calmed my nervous down way good, as I have epilepsy This did the trick and I was able to enjoy myself at the Hookah bar, this is a great plant in my opinion.

U guys must have gotten some better quality purple urkle. i had to smoke more than usual and it didnt last as long as other strains. wasnt as sticky either.

A top-notch Indica on all accounts! Super dense, super hairy, and extremely potent. One of the parents of GDP, they share many traits.Including a great fruity smell and taste, along with very high levels of CBD when grown properly.One of the hands down best for pain and insomnia.

Very good flavor with lots of potency. I would recommend Purple Urkle to everyone. Just got done smoking a silver haze and white widow mix ( Silver Widow ) and the Purple Urkle was almost as strong. Pretty amazing bud I would say :)

Purple Urkle is a great strain that has always left me feeling good. It's a heavy Indica that does its job very well. I have used it to fight insomnia on several occasions. Its tasty and fragrant and provides a slow and mellow burn.

Very sticky perfect for the pipe, but just a little nug will do ya. Smart purchase just a little will work, excellent taste and smell. But watch for the cough. Fantastic price, lasts longer. Pain relief almost gone. Will look for Purple Urkle again.

Purple Urkle is always a safe bet because like most good purp, you will get to where you need to go with this one. Once I got my hand on purple urkle, I knew I could only smoke it at night because it caused lazyiness. The high felt great and I didn't want to do much but enjoy it. Definitely indica that you can feel.

currently smoking purple urkle, goo, blaze, silver dream, lemon kush, afgooey and jamaican breeze and I have to say that purple urkle is the most magical of them all. Tastes like 1970s deep purple/grape and feels like late night pent-up sex in an old school outer space bordello.

Purple Urkle is really a treat of a strain. Looks wise, doesn't have as much prominent purple as a strain like GDP might have but light green look is very appealing. It's also some of the denser buds I've ever seen, with each and every bud feeling like small green rocks in my hand. It carries a very welcoming and pungent scent that isn't too sharp. The taste is very sweet, juicy and fruity enough to make your mouth water. It gives off much more of a head high that doesn't hit the body until much later. Overall all, a very solid strain that should be definitely given a spin.

purple urkle is another amazing bud in the purple family. im usually more into sativas but purple urkle is an indica but its wat i normally use to put me to sleep for the night. the smell of this bud is a mix between gdp and grapes. this bud is just always covered in and out with crystals. and the look of the deep purple is amazing to see. the high is a nice steady head high that will put you to sleep when you need to. this bud is probly in the top 5 in the purple family that as the years go on is just getting danker and danker.
