Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The effect never reaches what most would consider a quality high, but it will provide a short, stimulating buzz for around a half-hour, evoking a sense of happiness and joy.
This crossing came about by using an Island Sweet Skunk as a mother. This strain contributes yield and vigor, while the male, a Purple Shaman, adds great flavors of hash and grapes. The buds are large, round and have a deep purple color, overshadowed by silver trichomes and pink pistils. This gives them excellent bag appeal. Unfortunately the potency could use some improvement, but would be a good strain for a wake-n-bake or for those who have lower tolerances and are easily overwhelmed by strong cannabis varieties.
Vegetate these ladies right around four weeks to achieve optimum results. The yield is very heavy, producing as much as a pound per plant, when cultivated indoors in three-gallon containers. Flowering time is average, typically being around eight or nine weeks. Outdoor gardeners would do well to stay away from this strain, unless cultivating it in a greenhouse, where it should provide a harvest by the first week of October. Growers may have to provide stake support to the colas, to prevent them from snapping under their own weight.
