  • Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: This bud is without question one of the more potent strains I've tried recently. Succulent flavors of dank, fruit and flowers with an undertone of pine on the exhale are present. The high definitely submits you under its hold and leaves you there for some time.

Purple Dawg comes in somewhat large buds that are layered in a jungle of orange pistils, sticky trichromes, and green foliage. Many people actually pass up on this strain at dispensaries because of the huge lack of smell. However, what those people don’t know is that they’re missing out on one of the best indica-dominant strains on the current market.

Indoors, Purple Dawg will reach a height of around 4 feet, with her outdoor cousin growing up to 6 feet. The yields are good, with indoor yields often reaching 2 ˝ oz/plant. This strain can also be trained to be used in a SoG grow, and much prefers moderate amounts of organic nutrients.

Unlike many Purple strains, Purple Dawg is not generally purple in color, but offers all the benefits of those indica strains. Patients who deal with ailments ranging from inflammation to cancer like to medicate with Purple Dawg for its heavy indica body high provided. Look for this strain to go for around $50 an eighth, or better yet, just grow your own.

The first time I tried this strain I was impressed by the exceptionally large colas and the deep purple hue they contained among the green and orange. Doesn't have a strong scent, but the smoke is very pleasant with flavours of berry and spice on the exhale. Highly recommended for those who enjoy their indica-dominant hybrids.

If you can get this in an indoor mountain grown version where the CO2 is naturally higher, whoa!!! Deliscios smell, not crazy strong smell but sweet and berry-like, yummy.

Im 6 weeks into flowering mine outdoors, socal. It's HUGE, once it entered flowering it grew 2.5 times bigger in size. The buds all have a nice fruity smell. A majority of the pistils are pink on all my purple dawgs, never seen it in person before. The yield is going to be very nice, 1.5 pounds per plant easy. Defiantly a keeper and a strain WORTH growing for anyone interested.

I purchased a clone if this in Sacramento, and grew it outdoors. A-freakin-mazing! Very relaxing high, hits me about 60 seconds after exhale. (I usually smoke two hits, but after finishing the first, and by the time I've packed the second one, the first one kicks in & I forget the second one)
