Purple Bazooka was created by crossing a Sweet Purple female (Paradise Seeds) and a Double Bubble male (SOG Seeds) to create a truly magnificent strain that could certainly compete in a Cannabis Cup one day. These buds are incredibly large and dense, with a thick coating of trichomes. In fact, the trichomes can be so thick that it can be hard to tell that there is a nice coloration of lavender/purple/green under the sticky, white trichomes. One of the phenotypes produced from Purple Bazooka has an unmistakable blackberry aroma, while the other has a fresh and tropical citrus aroma. Both phenotypes, however, boast excellent flavors of sweet candy and pine. Users can expect eighths of this bud to range between $50 and $60 at most dispensaries. The breeder, as their name implies, created this strain to be very suited to the Sea of Green style of cultivation. Purple Bazooka grows relatively short with a single, large cola and minimal side branching. This strain tends to pack on quite a bit of weight and density during the final weeks of flowering, so support for the colas is recommended, so they don't snap under their own weight. It's recommended to allow these ladies to vegetate for at least a month, before they flower for 8 to 10 weeks. They are suitable for either indoor or outdoor cultivation, but greenhouse growing isn't particularly recommended as they have a lot of density and can be sensitive to bud rot without adequate ventilation. When grown in soil in a Sea of Green these ladies can produce around 1 to 2 ounces per plant. When grown in hydro in a SOG they can produce an immense 3 to 5 ounces per plant. This strain should certainly be added to any experienced grower's garden. They will not be disappointed.
