The Pure Skunk #1 strain of marijuana was created in Cali during the late 70s and then found her way to Netherlands in 1985. Today's Flying Dutchmen Pure Skunk seeds are direct family members of that original California strain. Now, most tokers assume that skunk weed is supposed to have that stinky, pissy smell to it. However, Pure Skunk cannabis does not. Her aroma is sweet, not acrid. Likewise, her taste is smooth and sweet - like all "pure" strains. Pure Skunk #1 is 75% Sativa, 25% Indica. Even so, she grows like an Indica, staying more squatted and bushy than do most Sativa-dominant strains.

Skunk #1 from 2011......High Times, pix of crop, February 2012 Submitted to several Cannabis Cups.....crossed with 1990 seed from Kampala, East Africa...Outside Socal at 6000,.....Werc ,13% THC, CBD.45!!!!!! Hashy cocoa flavor....slight skunk.

Grew 32 yr.-old seeds found in garage freezer in Garner Valley, California..........at 4500', they were nearly all female! Averaged 7-9', Sativa-like leaves, smelled like hay (we were disappointed at first). Produced about lb./plant, tasted slightly sweet, earthy, mild hashy that took you back to the late 60's- leaves just turned yellowish/green, faint gold at maturity............mild high, introspective, yet relaxing....bout 4 hr. high! Tested at Werc at 10.5% THC, CBD, .25.......any ventures what this is? (Seed purportedly came to Florida Keys via Panama or Columbia?)

And I thought Ak47 smelled like a skunk, now that I look back maybe it didn't like smell at all.LOL Whew. but if you can get by the way this strain smells you'll like the full effects of an all over kind of high.

They sure don't call it skunk for no reason. But wow it hits you when you least expect it. I could think so clear and felt so good, what a night, movies everything was great.
