Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Chase any aches and pains aways with this indica-dominant variety. This strain has great pain-relieving qualities and leaves an intoxicating high that lasts around 45 minutes with a sedating comedown.
The breeding that took place to create this strain spent over a year in the making. DNA Genetics took their time when selecting the best male and female to be bred. They knew which strains they wanted to cross, but selecting suitable parents took some time. Eventually the breeder chose a pristine male to pollinate a lush and vigorous female. The result is a strain with dense, frosty buds that have hints of purple or lavender in them. Aromas of grapes and Kush give this strain an intoxicating aroma, which is coupled with flavors of fruit and hash. Overall this strain is fit for a connoisseur in texture, aroma, flavor and potency.
While this isn't a strain recommended for greenhouse cultivation, they will thrive in most environments, so long as the humidity levels are not above 70%. OG Grape Krypt will turn purple or lavender without growers having to reduce the temperature. This is a natural purple strain that likes to be fed well below average levels of nutrients. In fact, it would be best to feed 1/3 or 1/4 of the recommended nutrient levels by the manufacturer. Yield will tend to be moderate, at best, but can increase substantially per square foot, when OG Grape Krypt is grown in a Sea of Green type garden. Ensure that these ladies receive a long, solid flush of at least three weeks, to get the best flavor and aroma. Grower wishing to clone will be pleased to know that this strain puts out cutting that only take around a week to fully root and be ready for transplant.
