New York Power Diesel (NYPD) is a cross of a Sativa Mexicana and an Aurora Indica. The buds smell like sour, fermenting fruit, with a hint of earth or pine and are slightly elongated and neither dense nor airy. Bright pink/orange pistils seem to reach for the sky, out of the light green foliage.

Like many sativas NYPD will require at least 11 weeks to flower, with 12 being necessary sometimes. Due to the amount these ladies will stretch, the breeder recommends only vegetating for 2 weeks, if height is a concern. They will respond very well to a Sea of Green style of growing and like to be fed generous amounts of nutrients. Inexperienced growers should take caution in undertaking this strain as they can pose many problems for the new medical grower.

best bud i've ever had, hands down. The taste, the smell, the smoothness of the smoke; there is not a damn thing wrong with this beautiful bud. I've only had the chance of smoking it once, and that was two years ago. I cannot wait for the day when we cross paths again
