Order 5 seeds of feminized.. One turned out to be self flowering. All five are doing well. Started the on 24 hrs of 400 watt, Now on 12/12. they are 50-70 cm. Flowering slowly. trying my best not to harvest early.

just growing 3 plants now and the buds arnt massive but there very compact which is what you want, the smell is not over powering like my blueberry but the buds look very nice. northern lights weed should be a very smooth smoke with a semi couch lock effect.

It's awesome but the first time I smoked it I wasn't really expecting such a reaction. After I smoked it I got really confused, everything looked a weird shade of their normal colors and my hearing was very off. I felt like I wasn't even around the people I was with. They say I saw the northern lights as a joke but it was pretty scary. At one point I couldn't even see, I saw shapes and patterns but the layout of the house was gone. I did also end up getting sick. Not sure if I'll ever try it again.

I disagree on the yield quote. I've been growing NL for over a year now and I'm getting close to a half pound per plant in soil. It responds better than any plant I've grown to the bending of tops. If you start bending tops during veg, you'll end up with a dozen (or more) tops when it flowers. And nothing beats properly grown NL! The smell and taste and high are all unmatched. I have clients that practically fight over it!

I just smoked some nl5 white widow and a white widow trainwreck cross and its nl5 hands down if you want a better effect talk to your doctor about opiates. I have tried hundreds of the best strands and honestly nl5 is what keeps me smokin

This known as a grower's strain. It's insanely easy to clone and grow. However it's not comparable with a strain like White Widow as far as the high goes. As an indica it's best before bed or when sick. The buzz is very dreamy, couchlocky, and is not good for daytime. If you're into indica thought you sure could do worse. It's really fun to grow, no matter what.

definately my alltime favorite but i havent really decided between this and gdp and super silver haze and og kush.but if you kno this bud you'll know it by the light green color not the darker green color. it'll give you a major head high and chill low dimmed eyes feeling and you'll eat everything in the house.

Don't know why it just didn't work well for me. Know people who really like it. Looked and smelled really good, just no punch for me. Cheap on price, but got what I paid for.

this was the 1st strain i tried when i was introduced to bud...needless to say i was pretty useless after smoking but it was one of the best feelings i have ever had...the taste was a bit piney, but it made it for it with the smell...as for the texture, i enjoy smoking this out of the pipe cause it gives a slightly stronger hit, although you wont need it with THIS buds potency...as KRONZ mentioned, almost instantaneous high

overall: 9.5/10

if i can find it more often, i will buy it more often...to you readers, remember to bring your munchies and set them up before smoking cause there's nothing worse than being too high to get up n get your munchies lol (speaking from exp.)

Another old classic, Northern Lights has been around for a long time and still retains it's popularity. Great piney taste and wonderful smell it's a good afternoon potent buzz. Just the right amount of stoniness where you can truly enjoy the high without falling asleep on the couch.

It has been mentioned in all circles as a quality strain at one point or another. It hard to be blown away at first glance with dark red hairs and darker buds just dominating a majority of the bud. The smell is very deep and its usually some of the denser buds you can get your hands on. The best part of it is how long the medicine ,wets, with a pretty mellow high lasting a solid hour and a half. Northern Lights is such a popular strain, it's hard to believe that you won't run into it in one way or another if you're serious about medicating.

Northern lights is one of my favorite strains with an almost sweet smell and a very skunky taste. Its the perfect hunger inducer, one time I had an loss of appetite and smoked some Northern Lights and I was hungry 10 minutes later. It tends to be a pretty potent and long-lasting high.

This used to be my favorite strain of bud, until I discovered the joys of GDP, OG Kush, Humboldt Hardball. Nonetheless it's a high quality, extremely potent indica. Slightly piney taste with notable skunkiness. It has a serious kick to it and I notice and effect immediately upon exhale. Northern Lights is one of those strains that I will get any time I see it properly grown.

This bud has a heavy skunk smell with a hint of pine and a hint of fruit. Strong body high with a mellow head buzz. It hits you hard as soon as you hit it. It delivers almost an instant high.

One of my favorite strains. Will leave you on a couch feeling great. Hits from this bud is usually very strong. Oh yea, munchies will kick in after an hr.
