Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Despite a relatively mild effect, Nitrous Northern Lights is still well ahead of the other ruderalis varieties, for potency.
Lowryder is a cross of Northern Lights and a ruderalis variety and was then crossed to the legendary Northern Lights strain. This breeding produced a strain with an elevated potency over most ruderalis varieties, and somewhat increased yield. With that said, however, the potency and yield are nothing spectacular, but will provide good relief for most patients during the day. The buds are medium in both size and density, with long pink pistils and an average covering of trichomes. The aroma, which is quite similar to the flavor is highly reminiscent of berries, hash and earth.
As with all ruderalis varieties there is no vegetation time required - or possible - for NNL. These plants immediately commence flowering, upon germination. They almost never reach a height above 30 inches, while providing a relatively low yield of around an ounce per plant. In order to obtain the biggest harvest possible, most growers prefer to utilize Nitrous Northern Lights in a Sea of Green garden. With this strain it's also possible to harvest up to three rounds in a single outdoor growing season, due to the incredibly short lifespan. Only feminized seeds are available from the breeder, so there will be no males available for breeding purposes in any packs.
