Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Don't plan on doing very much of anything, when you use this as a Nightcap. This strain will put even seasoned tokers right to sleep. This is also a good strain for dealing with pain management and stomach disorders.
Nightcap was bred by using the famed NorCal clone-only strain Mendo Purps as a mother. That mother was then pollinated by a Deep Bubba Kush male that was over a year in selecting as a suitable parent. The buds of Nightcap are small, dense and frost, with a few orange pistils strewn about. Munchies and sleep are two side-effects that are practically guaranteed with this strain.
It is best to allow these ladies to vegetate at least six weeks, in order to get a good yield. They'll flower right around eight or nine weeks, indoors and should be ready for harvest by the first week of October, when cultivated outdoors. They will do very well in a SoG garden, where the yield can reach up to 8 ounces per square meter. This is a strain that does not do particularly well with humidity and is somewhat prone to powdery mildew. Adequate ventilation and moderate temperatures are the best ways to ensure PM is not acquired.
