Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: The flavors of Night Shade are of sweet earth and fresh pine, while the effect is an absolute knockout.
This cross of an unknown India strain and an unknown Nepalese strain has quickly become a favorite amongst connoisseurs in the marijuana community. In fact, it even took two 3rd place prizes in 2006 from the IC420 Grower’s Cup and the famed High Times Cannabis Cup. The high tends to last quite a while – that is, if you can manage not to fall asleep from this 22% THC strain. The buds are large, round and have an absolutely immense coating of trichomes covering them.
When growing Night Shade indoors, expect ladies that are robust, but typically do not grow over 30” high. This strain is great for a SCRoG or SoG grow, especially in a hydroponic setup. The yield outdoors can be much more significant than that of indoors, yielding up to ¼ lb. per plant. Outdoors, Night Shade will finish at the end of September or early October, whereas indoors flowering will take anywhere from 8 – 10 weeks. So grab some of these seeds from the breeder, Barney’s Farm, while they last; they won’t last forever.
