Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Neptune produces a somewhat mild, but very trippy, psychedelic and unique high. The effect comes in waves of a pleasant balance between head high and body high, twisting the user's thoughts and emotions around in a way that can only be described as pleasantly bizarre.
Neptune has sparsely distributed pistils that are very short and orange. In fact, this strain is somewhat unique in the sense that it almost appears to have no pistils. They are there, however, just not readily apparent. The overall structure is neither dense nor fluffy and there is typically a moderate amount of trichomes apparent. Flavors include incense, sandalwood and sour grapes, with the aroma more reminiscent of stale hash and berries.
As with all ruderalis varieties, there is no flowering time required for Neptune. These ladies automatically begin flowering, immediately after germination. Total lifespan is right around 10 weeks, with the possibility of 11 weeks being necessary. They will much prefer very low levels of nutrients, as this will help to capture the flavor and reduce the risk of nute burn. It's actually recommended to feed about half of the recommended dose of nutrients, as is on the manufacturer's label. This is one of those strains that will truly thrive when grown 100% organically. Expect a very short structure for this plant, almost always under 3 feet tall. Outdoor cultivation is not recommended, unless in an area with humidity levels constantly above 80%.
