Nepali Rukum is literally one of the oldest known cannabis strains, hailing from the ruggedly beautiful mountains of Rukum, Nepal. A pure sativa, Nepali Rukum is best enjoyed during the day, providing an upbeat, joyous and slightly energetic high. The buds themselves are quite a sight to behold, boasting practically every color of the rainbow. These nugs are vibrantly strewn with streaks of lavender, pink, blue, orange, green, crimson and silver, giving them some of the best bag appeal we've ever seen. Flavors include sweet blueberries, hash and freshly upturned soil.

While this strain won't grow to the proportions of some pure sativas, it will still get quite tall. Indoor plants usually top out around 6.5 feet, while outdoor varieties can reach nine feet. Indoor growers are advised to vegetate these ladies no more than three weeks, while utilizing some type of training method, to manage height. Yields are very heavy, with outdoor varieties producing up to four pounds per plant. Nepali Rukum has very large, heavy colas, so stake support for the colas will likely be required, as the ladies mature. They are a good candidate for Sea of Green gardens, where the vegetation time should be reduced to around a week.
