Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: A relatively mellow, but upbeat buzz accompanies this strain, lasting around a half-hour, with a gradual and relaxing comedown.
Many recreational tokers may not find Misty Lights to be particularly appealing, as it does not have the powerhouse, highly potent qualities of many recreational strains. However, medical patients suffering from a multitude of ailments will do very well to ingest Misty Lights, as it has incredible medical qualities, due to a nearly unheard of percentage of CBD. This is a strain that should be available in every dispensary across the United States. The sad fact of the matter is, however, that it is not readily available in most areas. Hopefully, once word gets around, this medical-grade bud will be available to all patients. It was created by crossing a NL #5 x Haze mother to a Kali Mist male. This resulted in phenomenal results and a strain with flavors of strawberries and hash. The buds are neither dense nor airy and are medium in size, with long pink pistils.
These ladies can grow to pretty tall proportions, tripling or even quadrupling in height, at the end of flowering. With that in mind, growers would do well to limit the vegetation time to two weeks, at the most. When cultivated outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere, Misty Lights should be ready for harvest by the middle of October. Growers in the Southern Hemisphere will likely see a harvest by the beginning of May. Yields are very heavy with this strain and colas will almost certainly require stake support, to prevent snapping.
