This F1 hybrid comes to us from the Hawaiian Islands. Originally gaining popularity during the hippy-movement of the 1960’s Maui Wowie can make the same claim as McDonald’s: billions and billions served. I got me some of this strain today. The guy told me it was a mostly indica so I'm thinking it's a hybred. Good smoke! Strong indica sensation with an uplifting kick. Nice cerbral high and a body numbing effect. Feels good to be this high right now. No posts on how long this killer weed lasts 'cause I just smoked it twenty minutes ago. I give it an A rating. Peace, pot, and microdots!

Maui wowie is extremely smooth and pleasant to smoke,it has no back kick if you know what I mean. The stimulation is immediate and the effect very strong but pleasant at the same time. It actually can put a smile on your face because it has no down side. The taste is mild,the smell is pleasant the potency is strong the duration is a good three hours the texture is very green and fresh. Very highly recommended for those who suffer from depression. Will light you up like the sunshine and put a smile on your face. Maui wowie will not mess with your memory like some other types do. Best for social interactions and even down right intertainment. You will not even notice it when you come down.

smoothe smoke with fruity notes , pine smell , dense buds with lots of reddish orange hairs. the high is an upbeat , fully functional one iniatially , about two hours for me after one bowl,then i had a great nap ..recommend for anxiety / pain or depression ...enjoy!

Dont get this strain from anywhere but hawaii, its used to being grown by their sun and thats how it should be grown for optimum quality. Thats why kudi goes their to get his, the wowie there cant be touched.

I have always thought that this is such a great sativa, definitely good for someone who wants an anxiety-free experience. I didn't notice a super fruity smell but it did smell green and fresh. I think that the smoke was smooth which is nice, because personally I don't like the harsher feel. I really enjoyed the taste in the vaporizer. It has decent potency and usually can be found for about $50/ eighth. I would recommend it to someone looking for a decent mid-priced sativa because sometimes it is harder to find a good one.

A healthy medium green with big, fat calxyes and bright orange pistils, this Maui shimmered with double-decker cloudy (with maybe 10% ambered) trichomes. A bit piney, a bit earthy, but with a unique spicy smell that reminded us of fennel or even holiday spices. Much like the smell, a pine taste was the dominant note, but there was also some lemon and a slight sweetness. The back of the head began to feel heavy, but the eyes and forehead filled with pressure and a buzzing sensation, with the eyes in particular being heavily medicated to the point that they almost felt blurry.

Maui Wowie is fantastic weed for people who like to get high and remain highly functioning. Wowie has a very fruity smell that's kind of like a mixture of carribean fruit. I have tried many different strands of it, and each strand keeps the same fruity smell. Buds are usually soft, sometimes dense but not always. The taste is incredible, really sweet and fruity. It tastes almost exactly like it smells. The buds are very hairy, with varying shades of greens from light to dark. The hits are extremely smooth, and the high you get is almost a combo head/body high, but it gives you a rush of energy. Great for days when you want to get to cleaning something, as it lasts longgg too. I'd highly recommend this bud.

Maui Waui has a very sweet smell, and the flowers are often light green with many visible orange hairs curling around the bud. The taste is very smooth, although not of the best flavor. Maui Waui offers an uplifting high which can be very intense the first few bowls, but it is often short lasting.The high of Maui Waui remains mostly in the body, which is nice during the day, or when being medicated in a social setting. I would recommend for anxiety as there is a relaxing feeling to Maui Waui without the over powering, stoney feeling.

This bud is usually mid-grade or high-grade at best. The high is very stoney and upbeat. It's definitely upbeat without being overly energetic. For the right price I'll grab an eighth of this when I'm concerned about finances but want a decent strain of mids.
