L.A.P.D.
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: On the inhale, flavors of red wine, grapes and earth are present, with a sour, zesty and spicy finish. L.A.P.D. is more typical of an indica in terms of effect, causing relaxation and a stress-free environment.
As is apparent by the parents of this bud, L.A.P.D derived its name from a combination of initials of L.A. Confidential and Purple Diesel. This strain is common all along the West Coast, and incredibly popular in Southern California dispensaries, as the name implies. The buds of this marvelous weed are frosty, dark-green with streaks of purple strewn about the tight, dense buds. This bud smells danky, fruity, sour and minty and should have a decent filter to drown out the smell that will erupt from whatever room you have her growing in.
While she’s suitable for any type of growing environment, she produces the best yields of high quality medicine when cultivated in a greenhouse. She prefers dry temperate climates when grown outdoors and is resistant to molds unless grown in a humid climate. She’ll finish around the middle of October outdoors or in a greenhouse, and often flowers for just 7 weeks inside. Indoors, she can also be cultivated in a sea of green or screen of green garden.
The initial 15 minutes of the high from L.A.P.D. begins very cerebrally, but then tapers off to a much more sedated yet not couch-lock-inducing body stone. This strain is one of those strains that is highly potent and usually cheap, going for between $40 and $50 an eighth for top-shelf medication.
