Barney’s Farm crossed a Thai strain with a Jamaican strain in order to create Laughing Buddha, a highly medicinal strain of sativa-dominant marijuana. The buds most gardeners can expect from this strain are huge, dense for a sativa, and are absolutely glistening with potent trichromes.

Indoors, this strain has been known to yield up to 3 pounds per square yard in a Sea of Green, where she’ll grow to a height of no more than 3 feet. This makes her one of the few sativa that is actually ideal for a SoG grow. Outdoors, she’ll grow to 4 - 5 feet and will be ready for harvest by the beginning of November. She’s not a particularly easy strain to grow, and much care, attention and pruning will be needed.

Exotic flavors of citrus, berries, pepper and sweet candy make for a top-of-the-line strain in terms of taste. Oh wait that’s right, it’s also a top-of-the-line strain in terms of potency, at 18% THC and 0.4% CBD. The effect supplies patients with energy and feelings of uplifting joy and happiness. This is a great strain for depression, as well as treating other ailments. Many sativa-lovers consider Laughing Buddha a connoisseur’s strain. Look for this strain to go for around $55 an eighth at most clubs.

THE BEST STRAIN SO FAR. A VERY LONG RELAXING HIGH WHICH HAS LAST ME ABOUT 4 TO 5 HOURS AT THE MOST. AFTER THE FIRST FEW HITS YOU START TO GET DIZZY. THEN ABOUT 15 MINS INTO IT..... IT STARTS KICKIN YOUR ASS HARRRRDDDD. I RECOMEND THIS

Not a big smoker. Went to the Dam and tried LA cheese which floored me. I prefer having energy to do things so I tried Laughing Buddha. I didn't smoke anything else for the rest of my time there. Happy to walk around and do things without the lethargy that I often get, nice and giggly, smooth to smoke and just a happy great time. If I had one weed to smoke for the rest of my life, it would be LB. Peace.

I smoked it in the own barney's coffeshop in amsterdam, paid about 13euros one gram and felt really disapointed about the taste. You get really high is true, but your joint will taste worse than bad quality stuff. I don't know why people likes its taste, but if you want a sativa with nice high a better taste try some good haze or "kali mist" from serious seeds instead of this one.

I have been enjoying the Laughing Buddha from Creme de Canna, my favorite dispensary in Soquel CA, and it is a very clean high with nerve calming tendencies. The price of $10 a gram belies the quality and delicious flavor that a first hit off the bowl provides. I believe that CdeC was on their last qp of it, but they have many other high quality strains at bargain prices (nothing more then $18 g), not to mention a large selection of creative edibles. Definitely worth the trip if you and your card make it to Santa Cruz county.

Not a hardened smoker, and inclined to nervousness, we tried this strain in Amsterdam. My wife had more than she needed and felt anxious for an hour but was fine after. I hit it just right and was aware that it was a very 'clean' high, nicely cerebral to start without any excess of nervousness (to which I am prone. More smoking resulted in an increasingly relaxed high and a very comfortable stoning indeed by the end of the evening. I was surprised that I found my way home, a two hour walk, in a strange city, with absolute clarity of direction. Had a really good laugh when we got back, so a nice long lasting high. Only down was as soon as I started walking home I needed to pee badly despite having just gone before we left (Dampring). Cold weather though was more to blame than the smoke Im sure. Really suited me as a strain, in that it gave a strong head high but not OTT, and a deep relaxation without tiredness. Excellent combination of qualities:)

This strain is seen in NorCal clubs and despite me being an indica-lover, I couldn't help but love the effect I got from this strain. The flavor is excellent, as the description said, and the high is very long-lasting and highly uplifting.
