Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Even seasoned tokers should take caution when inhaling fat bong rips of Kolossus. This is a serious cough-inducer, but provides a heavy, rip-roaring effect of both mind and body effects - after the coughing fit is done, that is.
This strain derives its name from the Greek statue of the god Helios at Rhodes. In essence, the buds are gigantic, but with above average density. They also display a shimmering array of potent, sticky trichomes that are just begging to be smoked. Kolossus also puts of a pungent aroma of citrus, strawberries and pine. The flavors are almost exclusively of fresh-squeezed lemonade and Haze. The Haze flavor likely comes from the Sannie's Jack that is present in the genetics. Kolossus isn't a couch-lock strain and can be enjoyed at practically all hours of the day or night. It won't keep users awake, nor will it make them crash into a coma.
These ladies will tend to double or sometimes triple in height, upon forcing flowering. We recommend vegetating around 4 or 5 weeks, before forcing flowering. With such a high-yielding strain it's better to switch them over a few days too early than too late. Yield are, well, colossal - pun definitely intended. They'll do great indoors and will flourish outdoors when grown in a climate with temperatures ranging between 55 to 80 from April to October. In other words, outdoor growing regions are limited with this one, but not impossible. Better just to treat these ladies right and keep 'em indoors though. They'll thank you with big yields of potent bud.
