Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: A long-lasting, trippy, cerebral effect accompanies users on a glorious and spiritual journey.
Medical Marijuana breeder Homegrown Fantaseeds revealed this hidden gem not to long ago. Kannamist offers users a happy, psychedelic high lasting nearly two hours. Kannamist is especially helpful in treating depression and helping with concentration in those diagnosed with ADHD. The breeder has not revealed the parents of this strain. What is known is that the two parents are likely both high-potency sativas. The aroma is of sharp citrus and sweet tropical fruit, possibly mango. The flavor is of Haze and lemons, with a slight cocoa aftertaste lingering on the palate for quite some time.
Commercial growers will likely want to stay away from this strain, as it offers very low yields, but of highly potent sativa buds. The nugs also lack density but make up for it in large quantities of trichomes. When inspected under a microscope, the buds appear to have trichomes growing on other trichomes, there are so many. As a result, the buds appear white, interladen with long, ochre-colored pistils. Growers are advised to limit the amount of nutrients fed to these ladies, to safeguard against nute burn. The flowering time, when indoors, is a consistent 10 to 11 weeks. Outdoor and greenhouse varieties grown in the Northern Hemisphere should be ready to come off the vine around the middle to end of October. When cultivated outdoors in the Southern Hemisphere Kannamist should complete flowering by the middle of April. They'll do best when temperatures (indoor and outdoor) range between 60 and 80 degrees, with moderate humidity. They also prefer a soil pH level between 6.1 and 6.3 to grow optimally. This is a strain that is only available in non-feminized seed form, from the breeder or as clones from elsewhere.
