Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: This is one sativa that infuses a strong appetite stimulation, while providing a balanced high of cerebral and body effects, often lasting around an hour for most users.
Kali Bubba is quite a unique strain, in terms of appearance. The buds are oblong in shape and have a sea-urchin type of appearance, with spiky sugar leaves sticking out all over. They also have short, but bright orange and pink pistils, complimented by an aroma of grapefruit, hash and lemons. Flavors include citrus and earth, with a piney aftertaste. This is a strain that is great for nausea or other stomach disorders, as well as appetite stimulation.
Cultivating this strain will take a bit of patience and know-how on the part of the gardener. When grown indoors they will flower anywhere between 10 and 11 weeks, while their outdoor and greenhouse counterparts will be ready to come off the vine around the middle of November, in the Northern Hemisphere. They will not do particularly well in colder climates and should thrive in areas of medium to high humidity during the summer and early fall. Hydroponic cultivation can produce great results, in terms of yield, but the potency may suffer slightly. The colas should receive support beginning around week five or six of flowering, in order to prevent them from breaking.
