By backcrossing Jack Herer Homegrown Fantaseeds created a marvelous F2 that offers a few benefits the original “king of sativa” cannot. The buds seem to be denser, in general and provide a very similar, if not identical, high to that of the original JH.

Unlike Jack Herer Jah Herer is recommended for beginning growers seeking either an indoor or outdoor medicinal garden. The breeder recommends vegetating these ladies no more than 3 weeks indoors, as they tend to stretch quite a bit, especially in early flowering. Outdoor growers can expect to harvest by the end of October, while indoor cultivars will typically see a 9 to 10 week flowering period. A nice long cure won’t do this strain much harm either, so growers should not be hesitant to jar the buds up for at least a month.
