Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Much as the name implies, Jack O Nesia makes users downright stupefied, in a happy, joyous and upbeat manner. Minimal body effects are largely overshadowed by a dominating cerebral effect that will turn one's brain into mush, while ensuring they have absolutely zero negative feelings. A perfect strain for those suffering from PTSD.
Let's face it, most of the time when you crossbreed two already legendary strains you will get another even more legendary strain. While not always the case, this certainly turned out to be the case with Jack O Nesia. The Amnesia D mother helped it become a somewhat easy strain to cultivate, while adding flavor and boosting the potency of the already potent Jack #22. The mother was the winner of the 2009 ICMAG 420 Cup, winning the competition by a long-shot. The Jack male added vigorous growth, while keeping the flowering time down to a reasonable amount. Everything about this strain should appeal to those who consider themselves sativa-connoissuers. The crisp flavors include minty gum, Haze and a spicy aftertaste, while the ambrosial aromas of candy and Haze fill the nostrils and are nearly intoxicating themselves. The density of Jack O Nesia raises no complaints either.
For indoor growers, it's best to limit the time these ladies vegetate to around 2 weeks, when grown from clone and 3 weeks when grown from seedlings. Topping is also a preferred method by many growers for this strain, since it will not only increase the yield, but keep the height down to a manageable level. LST will also work very well with Jack O Nesia. Unique to most other sativas, these ladies are actually relatively easy to grow. Outdoor cultivation isn't recommended unless they are grown in an area that maintains nighttime temperatures above 65 degrees, through the beginning of November. Greenhouse cultivation can work as well, but the nighttime temperatures should not reach below 60 degrees, through the same time period. Jack O Nesia will make an excellent mother plant that can produce a multitude of clones that take root relatively quickly. So whether you're a beginning grower or one who has a few grows under their belt, Jack O Nesia will be a great addition to any garden.
