The breeder does not recommend topping this variety if the grower wishes to obtain these famously gargantuan buds. Instead they recommend an LST method or supercropping to increase yield. Jack 47 clones very easily and most cuttings are fully rooted within a week! The breeder recommends Jack 47 to be grown in any medium and in any environment except for a greenhouse. With these huge, dense colas there would normally be a high propensity for mold or mildew, however Jack 47 is notoriously resistant to such diseases, except when in a greenhouse.
