Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: I.E.D. truly is a medicinal wonder. While it produces a high that is moderate, in terms of recreational appeal, the medicinal effect is very hard to beat. This is a strain that absolutely blows away pain and nausea.
This hybrid was created by using a Bubba D female to be pollinated by the famed landrace strain, known as Afghani #1. The result is a strain with excellent medicinal qualities and that is absolutely packed with CBD. While the THC content is moderate, at best, I.E.D. is preferred by medical patients suffering from chronic and severe pain. The buds are tight and small, with high amounts of trichomes and short, sparsely distributed orange-pink pistils. They put off a pleasant aroma of hash, coffee and citrus, with flavors of hash and lemons.
When cultivated outdoors, I.E.D. will usually top out around a finished height of five feet or so. Indoors, they tend to max out around three or four feet. Indoor gardeners can feel comfortable vegetating I.E.D. for as long as seven or even eight weeks, without fear of running into height restrictions. The yield, whether grown indoors or outdoors, will tend to be moderate to heavy. Outdoor plants can produce as much as two pounds per plant, while requiring stake support to prevent colas from snapping. Ensuring I.E.D. gets a prolonged flush will greatly enhance the already delicious flavors.
