Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: When smoked in relatively high doses, Heavenly Querkle puts almost everyone to sleep. This heavy indica may not produce couch-lock if only a toke or two is taken. It's unique in the fact that when smoked in light doses, it can allow for productivity and upbeat feelings. When smoked in heavier doses, sedation, heavy relaxation and drowsiness begin to take hold of users.
The breeder chose Querkle as the mother in the crossing, which was then pollinated by a Heavenly male. Querkle was already a frost-covered sugar mama, which Heavenly then added even more resin production, as well as yield. The buds are tight, rock-hard and slightly elongated. They're also absolutely caked with trichomes. Perhaps the best aspect of Heavenly Querkle is the out-of-this-universe flavor. Flavors include berries, bananas and oranges. Indeed, smoking this bud is quite similar to drinking a smoothie on a hot summer day. Heavenly is the best description of the flavor.
The breeder has discovered two phenotypes that are apparent with this strain, with each occurring just as much as the other. One pheno is a plant with a relatively short overall height, some side-branching, slower, less vigorous growth, average yields and highly resinous colas. The second phenotype is a more rapid, taller and bigger yielding variety, with just as much resin on the colas. Both strains will take around eight or nine weeks to complete flowering, indoors. They should be ready for harvest by the first week of October, when grown outdoors.
