Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Hard Lemon produces a relatively brief but intensely powerful effect, great for PM use and dealing with moderate to severe medical issues, such as nausea and pain relief.
Much as the name implies, the buds of this strain are incredibly hard and dense, covered in a thick coating of trichomes and putting out an unmistakably pungent aroma of sour citrus, Kush and freshly upturned earth. Flavors include lemon, blueberries and diesel, making for quite a delectable combination. Despite the relatively short-lasting effect, Hard Lemon makes up for that with a powerful effect that can quickly incapacitate many inexperienced users.
Hard Lemon will usually only double in height, after forcing flowering, so growers should feel comfortable vegetating this indica variety as long as seven or even eight weeks. Such an extended period in vegetation will greatly improve the yield, which can reach well above average. Indoor gardeners should watch for powdery mildew and bud rot, during late flowering. Adequate CFMs are necessary to prevent these unfortunate occurrences. When cultivating this strain outdoors, they will do very well in environments that do not have summertime temperatures above 90 degrees. Hard Lemon grows best between 45 and 52 degrees N latitude, but can perform well in slightly warmer or cooler climates. Expect outdoor yields to range between four and seven ounces per plant.
