Only available in bud form from a Boulder, CO dispensary, Gupta Kush was developed with the medical patient in mind. These buds are dark-green, dense and have a thick coating of trichomes, while permeating the air with a robust aroma of hash and earth. Flavors are of hash, flowers and Kush. The effect instills a sense of true relaxation and sedation in patients, allowing them to escape from chronic pain and other ailments. Helping Hands Herbals, in Colorado, is currently the only place where Gupta Kush is available. That may change in the future, however.

As an indica-dominant variety, Gupta Kush can be vegetated around a month, before forcing flowering. Flowering should take anywhere from eight to 10 weeks, when cultivated indoors. Outdoor gardeners should see a harvest around the beginning of October. The yield will be moderate and chock-full of potent buds. For optimum flavors, gardeners should ensure they feed organic nutrients, while giving a prolonged flush. However, growers will not have the opportunity to cultivate this strain (at least not immediately), as it is currently only available in bud form, from Helping Hands. Maybe one day the dispensary will release cutting or clones so others can enjoy this lovely strain.
