Greenhouse Thai
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: While I'm not easily persuaded by many sativas, this one definitely appealed to me. Greenhouse Thai has delicate flavors of pepper, cinnamon, lavender and charred pine, with flavors to match. The high provides a full-on heady effect, without the speediness that often accompanies such head-highs. Instead, a much more mellow body high will be provided.
A mother landrace Thai strain was bred with a male Laotian strain in order to create possibly the best Thai variety currently available. This 85% sativa comes in huge, elongated buds that emanate their glorious scent in whatever room they may be in. She’s not recommended for beginning growers simply in the sense that she takes between 14 and 16 weeks just to flower and she’ll require as much room as possible to grow, preferring a Screen of Green setup when indoors. Outdoors, she much prefers her homeland climate, but will thrive in nearly any equatorial environment, producing a moderate to heavy yield and growing huge in stature. Additionally, gardeners should note that levels of nitrogen should be maintained at a consistent or slowly degrading level for the initial month of flowering. This is to prevent the buds sucking the nitrogen from the fan leaves prematurely.
Unlike many mostly sativa strains, Greenhouse Thai does not provide any overly speedy or nervous effects. Many patients who suffer from glaucoma, migraines and other inflammation are highly fond of this Thai variety. If you can’t find it at a local dispensary, you should feel comfortable ordering it online from the breeder themselves.
