Green Crack's lineage is '89 SSSC Skunk#1 crossed with a mysterious Indica. Green Crack produces extremely healthy looking buds, that are a medium-green color vividly contrasted by dancing orange, medium-length hairs. These hairs are denser towards the tips of the nugs. This strain has been around for two decades and is mostly popular from the Michigan to California. Confusion often arises between the strain being an Indica or sativa and there is an answer. In fact there is a strain of Green Crack that is nearly pure sativa (the previously stated strain), and also one that is 75% Indica. The Indica-dominant strain was made by cross-breeding the sativa Green Crack with an unknown Afghani strain of cannabis and is in fact not truly Green Crack.

This strain is favored among growers for it's ease of growth and ability to clone. Those who supplement their medical cannabis garden with this impressive sativa will find minimal difficulty in bringing the plant to maturity, and can expect an above average or even high crop yield. I really enjoyed this strain. First time I've ever tried a pure sativa, definitely a burst of energy compared to the indica dominant stuff I'm used to. It didn't get me retarded high like the indicas do, but I was very alert, thinking clearly, and felt great. When I would smoke at night I tended to stay up very late due to the energy it provided, so be careful.

Funny how the reviews vary. Person X is positive this strain sucks while Person Y swears he loves it. Sounds like a strain you love or hate. I like this stuff. It has it's uses. It is the more creative sativa type high, but doubled up on the creative part. Because it's a sativa, it doesn't have the face melting potency of an indica. I had no idea this stuff was crossed with indica. The pure sativas are probably even to sativa like for me. This stuff tastes like the perfect sativa. Potent enough that you know you're high, with a clean feeling that does give a steady feeling of well being. If you hate sativas you'll hate it. It's one of my favorites. If I can afford to have two strains on hand, I like a typical strong indica, and this one.

Just got home from a great trip abroad where we tried a few new (to us) strains. Green Crack was our main daytime strain. I think we had one that was crossed with an Indica, as stated in the info above.

I say this as I have tried other pure Sativa strains and they made me MUCH 'higher' than this one did. However that is not to denigrate what we had, as it was very enjoyable, although it was definitely a 'daytime' strain, it was quite pleasant, easy going, but a lot more relaxing than pure Sativas I have had before.

So I'd concur with other reviews here that is is a daytime strain, keeps you up and going and not hard to handle at all, but also as others have said it wears off after about an hour and made us feel quite tired (but not an Indica couch lock tired) unless topped up which would reinvigorate us.

All in all a very suitable Strain when you want to keep functional, as , apart from my memory, it had little effect on mental function (assuming we had the version crossed with an Indica).

To me , it was more like an Indica that had a Sativa element, which keeps you alert and not tired, than a full on Sativa.

Our other favourites on this trip were Mars OG and Headband.

I am very happy with the yield of my two Green Cracks, greenhouse grown.
IT is very good for daytime use and does not result in couch-lock. IT has very nice looking nugs.

Like all buds it depends on the batch. I have had some not so good green crack and some insane green crack. The best buds is covered in sugar. The texture is some of the best, like a good Dream Queen. The high is very strong and a quick rush. I use good batches when working on my internet projects and for brainstorming. Does not make me yawn or feel sleepy, very uplifting. One of my top 5.

Mine is GReat! Grown local and legit. Nothing wrong with this strand at all. Very good High. Helped me with my nausea. I only use a vape, and the taste was great! Lasted a good 3 hours before i was ready to vape again.

The problem with Green Crack is that it takes so long to ripen. Will go full 10+weeks. Cut to early, super speedy. Cut at 1/2 cloudy and 1/2 amber, buzz will fade away real soon. Wait for 1/2 amber, 1/2 orange and it will over deliver. Likes 5 gallon pots or bigger. 2 1/2 gallons is to small, not good yield. Put in a big pot, Give an extra week or two in Veg., and if You are using 1000W lamps, keep slightly out of the hot spots. Last two weeks when everything else is finished, put directly under big 1000's. Enjoy

Very potent but the effects diminish quickly. I wouldn't say the high goes away completely but that initial feeling during or immediately following the smoke doesn't stick around. I feel good for a while after and it can be useful if you have limited time and don't want to be 'stoned' just feeling good while doing so.

I've tried Green Crack from several different sources...all i can say is, garbage. Looks good, smells good, doesn't even get me high. Sticking to OG Kush or Bubba Kush...green crack sucks trust me.

Must have the Indica strain. Super relaxing body stone. Not hyper psychoactive. Fairly clear minded. Great stuff. Super strong and long lasting. No paranoia, but not mind numbing either. Comes on slow and strong. Short creative social buzz followed by long deep relaxation.

I got my green crack from Buds For Life in Fresno and I gotta say they had a pretty good batch. I have had the strain many times before in my smoking life and I must say that its always exciting to see it in stock. This is the kind of stuff you wanna smoke on a beautiful day right before you go take a walk or play some Frisbee in the park. One intense sativa so its not going to wear you down, but be warned. Just like with any other bomb bomb this is not the best thinkers weed. I tend to find it hard to formulate complete sentences after a good dose of the green crack. On the flip side this isnt the kind of weed that's going to keep you messed up forever and tends to wear off quick so I wouldn't recommend it for people dealing with intense pain.

Aptly named, this high fades for me in about 20 minutes. The main reason that that's disappointing, however, is that it's a WONDERFUL high, making activity lovely and easy. It tastes a lot like Trainwreck, which is a good thing, but not a great thing. It's usually very crispy and sticky.

Green Crack is just what the name says! haha. Some very tasty potent buds if done correctly. I find it perfect to start the day with. It doesnt leave you feeling lazy and lethargic. I usually end up wanting to go out and do something after smoking this. It is very mentally stimulating! It has such nice orange hairs and that sweet green smell.

I tried Green Crack about a year ago and really liked the dank, moist, fragrant buds. After smoking I had an instant body high and felt very happy for hours. I like this strain for it's uplifting effect and tendency towards inspiring creativity. Tastes skunky with a touch of mango or other exotic fruits. The effects are fairly long lasting.

The only good thing about this is its looks. It is like a decaf cup of coffee, empty shell of what it seems to be. Smells and tastes good though. Nobody should ever top shelf this or charge more than $10 a gram, maybe less.

I originally wanted to gave this strain a try because I thought it might be an uplifting experience. The names are usually pretty right on and this was no exception. Green Crack has thick green buds that produce an instant energetic euphoric high. Although not as long lasting as some others the taste is fruity and sweet making it very popular at most dispensaries. Good for daytime relief and it may even help promote creativity.

Green Crack is a beautiful sativa. The bud has phenomenal texture, Green Crack is often covered in many orange hairs and yields dense buds that have very sticky leaves, which in nature helps the cannabis live up to its name. The smell is very sweet and powerful smell. The taste is very sweet and fruity, and the high is very clear yet very strong! I was medicated for at least two hours on average. Smoking out of nice glass water pipes could be the reason why the taste was so strong. The high had me on the edge of my seat, I felt very creative and lifted from stress because of this green crack will have a great reputation in my mind.

One of the most common lower strains of marijuana that packs a punch but won't dip into your bank account. I've found strains of this in multiple paces that are vibrant green that go for much smaller of a price. The look is always appealing with frosty crystals engulfing a very green bud. The smell is lovely and the buds are usually extremely dense. The high is more of an uppity feel that is good for daytime but also a solid later evening smoke as well. All in all, a very worthy strain that's looks don't disappoint.

Green Crack is one of the dankest buds around. this sticky smelly bud smokes extra smooth with a great tasting xhale. this bud is normaly just destroyed with crystals. the high is a nice heavy head high that last for a good while. every once in a whil it will give you a crazy come down to the point you wanna just got to sleep but with this bud there is one easy way to fix that tho take another snap and your right back to th3 peak of your high thats why green crack is just an all around dank bud.

Green crack is an excellent day time strain, offering an energetic and uplifting high. I am usually very talkative and active after smoking Green Crack. The only problem is that high doesn't last very long and it is very easy to smoke a lot of it.
