got me an 1/8 of this twice in the last month. both different growers and buds. first batch was a killer couch lock, concord grape taste, fruity smell, tight green buds with purple guts, bright orange hairs. next batch was not as tight and lil more wet. but more purple too. study ur buds or you will end up not getting what you paid for.

Seems mid strength to me, smells musky, hashlike, thai kind of rich smell,the taste was not as good as it was imagined. I have not had really good tasting weed for years it seems.

tastes good to me, and it does have a nice head bang.. but if you over do ya it will lock you down.. color purple seems to be with temps control.. cooler evenings purple that bad girl up,, also very nice hard nugs,, a little smaller than most big bud strains.. but still a nice 4 zip indoor plant.. im sure others could get more outside with it.. good pain med and insteresting high, and its an easy to mid type experienc to grow it..one of my favorites

I do believe that i have finally figured out what my mystery indica plant that i love to grow is! GRAPE APE it does what no other strain can for me.It gives me energy releives pain well and helps me cope with my add & depression, But like others have said it puts most every one that i know down for the count,so then they need something like c-99 or jack to pull them back from zombie land. Still the most beautifull things i have ever grown!

This is a no monkeying around strain. It will knock you out if enjoyed the best way I know how, with a grape blunt wrap. If you can finish it you have amazing super powers. Have fun and go ape shit!

@Rastaman I've had Grape Ape thats given me Couch Lock like a mothafucka. Purple Urkel is a really good Strain for those who arent really into the Grape

For one of the purples this one is not my particular favorite, I like more of a head high than just a knock out hit but if you need some sleep give it a try.

I love myself any good purple strain because I enjoy getting sleepy. I have a hardtime getting to bed at any time in life, night, daytime for a nap. I just feel sleepy but can't pass out, Grape ape is my best friend at these times of need. It is a little more fruity than your granddaddy purple but, I enjoy a aromatic weed as well as really crystalized nugs. I find that Grape ape is more showlike and has less orange hairs than Grandaddy purple, I love Grape ape though. It is definitely on my top 5 of favorite purple strains. The only downfall is that if you smoke it during the day, the duration is usually a heavy high for a short period of time.

I hate grape ape. There's nothing objectively wrong with it, but the only thing it's done for me is put me to sleep. It smells very grapey, almost like a blunt wrap (which it's great with), and is at least as potent as any other kush, but there's almost no cerebral fireworks, just a tired feeling. And it lasts FOREVER.

A very unique Indica, Grape Ape has an interesting appearance with red hairs, icy crystals and purple buds that are beyond flavorful. Flavors of grapes and berries are instantly recognizable to the taste buds. One of the great purple buds that is not only flavorful but very aromatic. Grape Ape is kind of what you'd expect from the name, with hints of purple covering a strain that just deliver after you medicate. The actual sight of Grape Ape is beautiful, with super dense buds carrying light orange hairs around a lighter green and semi-purple color. The smell is noticeably fruity and is really fabulous in bigger quantities. The smoke is very smooth and low key with a subtle fruit taste that makes the buds extremely smokeable. The high hits the head a lot more than the body but really gets the job done in mellowing. Grape Ape is a great strain of purple that should definitely be tried for taste if not for its gorgeous looking buds.

Grape Ape is probly the second best bud in the purple family right under gdp. this bud has an amazing taste of grapes. the smell is just amazing with a mixture of grapes and the normal purple smell. the high just goes and goes and dosent dump you on your ass durig the come down withch is a must now adays. grown corectly this could easily be one of the dankest buds you have ever had.

Grape Ape is a very nice, relieving strain. Like most purple strains it is an indica, although not nearly as potent as most. It offers a fruity smell and taste, and is a great mellow high. Perfect for insomnia.

This is a very potent indica. The color is some of the more purple buds I have seen, with a noticeable frostiness due to an excessive amount of trichromes. It comes in dense nugs but not as dense as GDP or puple urkel. The taste has a powerful skunk taste with an unmistakeable fruity grape aftertaste. The high is very hard-hitting and great for insomnia and will give you a hearty appetite.
