  • Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: If you're not already acquainted with your couch, you certainly will be after smoking Gletsjer. A powerhouse indica variety, it provides stimulating cerebral effects which are largely overshadowed by a heavy and medicinal body high.

Gletsjer, most recognizable by its large, frosty and aromatic buds, is a 60% indica-dominant variety that brings out the best traits in an Afghani x Hawaii landrace breeding, which was then crossed over to a Humboldt Snow male. This hybrid strain has incredible vigor, excellent flavors of spice and coffee, with undertones of fruit, and a potency that is out of this world. The only downside is the longevity of the high, lasting only around 30 minutes. However, during that 30 minutes, most users are sent into a heavy, sedated state of being.

Most gardeners like to vegetate Gletsjer anywhere from four to six weeks, before inducing flowering, as they will get too tall if left in veg any longer. Outdoor gardeners should reap a harvest by the middle of October, in the Northern Hemisphere. Growers in the Southern Hemisphere should see a harvest by April. This is a versatile strain that can grow in a variety of climates. They will do well with hot or cold temperatures, but don't take particularly well to humidity, making them not such a good choice for greenhouse gardens. Expect well-above average to heavy yields of incredibly potent buds, whether it's grown indoors or outdoors.
