Genie of the Lamp
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Fortunately crossing NYC Diesel with Big Bud didn't lose any of that connoisseur-style flavor of the Diesel mother. The potency is also just as strong as that of the mother, sending you on a mixed journey of a cerebral and body high.
While Big Bud is not normally considered to be one of the more potent strains it is, by far, one of the heaviest yielding varieties, in the shortest amount of time. NYC Diesel, on the other hand, is one of the most potent sativas out there, but takes 10 – 12 weeks to flower. By breeding these two strains, Homegrown Fantaseeds was able to bring the flowering time down to 9 – 10 weeks, while maintaining the flavor and potency of the NYC Diesel that connoisseurs have come to know and love.
Genie of the Lamp can be successfully cultivated indoors or outdoors. Greenhouse growing is not recommended, as the massive calyxes can be prone to bud rot and other mold in flower, if not provided with sufficient ventilation. Even indoors, growers should exercise caution to have more than normal CFM (cubic feet per minute) circulating their grow room. Feel free to vegetate these ladies 3 – 5 weeks (or even longer), since they do not stretch much at all, once flowering has been initiated.
