Full Moon
Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: This strain is without a doubt a very peculiar strain. It starts off with a slight body high, which rapidly fades into a psychedelic head high, provoking strange, but not bothersome thoughts
Full Moon is a strain with an effect quite possibly the least like weed of any strain. This nearly 100% sativa Thai landrace provides an effect that is mostly visual and slightly cerebral, causing trippy visual effects. This is not to say that you are going to hallucinate, just that things will look, well - different. These buds can get dense under high-wattage lights, but normally is somewhat fluffy. This strain also derives its name from the party - known as the Full Moon Party, on the Thai island of Koh Phangan, where seeds were acquired by the breeder and brought back to the Netherlands.
If you are patient enough to wait the 3 to 3 ½ months this weed takes to flower, you’ll be rewarded not with a massive yield, but of some of the most unique and potent sativa you’ve ever grown. These ladies can get really tall, so growers should take that into consideration. They also stretch quite a bit upon flowering, thus it’s recommended to only vegetate them for 12 to 14 days. This strain also won’t do well outdoors, due to the longevity of the flowering time and is somewhat prone to mold and shouldn’t be grown in a greenhouse either.
Like most Thai strains, Full Moon has flavors of spice, herbs and wood and causes a trippy cerebral effect that can last up to 3 hours even in those smokers with extremely high tolerances. When you can find it, grab an eighth of this weed for around $55.
