Flo
- Type: Sativa/Indica 60/40 Hybrid
- Yield: Heavy
- Flowering Time Required: between 55 and 64 days;
- Cross: Purple Thai (female) x Afghan Indica (male)
- Bred by: Dutch Passion
The Flo strain of medical marijuana is a cross between a Purple Thai Sativa female and a Afghan Indica male. She is dominantly Sativa phenotypic, but finishes maturing very quickly, normally right around Day 60 of her flowering photoperiod. Purple-hued calyxes form big, sticky spearhead buds that are compact and heavy. She likes to spread out as she matures, but performs very well in a single central cola Sea of Green cultivation setup as well. 6 weeks of flowering means shorter grows and therefore more grows per year in a given space annually. That's nice news, especially in this economy!

Allow Flo cannabis plants as much HID and LED lighting as you can afford to supply (and of course keep her at least 18 inches from the lights so she doesn't stress in the heat!). Keep her indoor temps about 75° F during lights on periods and about 65° F during lights out. If you grow her outdoors, she can be a super producer and harvested in parts over time to maximize yield and potency of lower bud sites. She tastes like the Nepalese Temple type of hash and her buzz sets in quickly to take over your mind. She's not too powerful though; just about right for a seriously enjoyable, pleasantly crisp mentally high experience.
Expert tokers recommend firing up some Flo marijuana at least twice daily (five times or more for best results).

Anyway, this one IS SWEET! Nice, potent-smelling, lime green buds that stick to the wall. Burns slow, no cough or hacking up a lung and no couchlock, probably due to the sativa-dominant genetics. Great social bud that will make you feel very happy and talkative for 2+ hours. No burnout at all. Serious cottonmouth and bloodshot eyes are to be expected though.
Nice strain for depression and stress relief.
