Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: This bud is definitely a creeper strain, with the full effect not taking place until around 15 minutes after smoking. For some reason, vaporizing seems to exacerbate the creeper aspect of El Queso.El Queso has some of the best bag appeal around; plain and simple. The slightly elongated buds have great density, tons of shimmering trichomes, light pink pistils and a pink/orange hue to them. The aroma is a mix of the mother and father, reminiscent of danky cheddar cheese and sharp, Haze. The breeder used a Royal Dutch Cheese mother to be pollinated by a Royal Dutch Trainwreck male. The result is a strain that is sure to compete in a Cup one day. While this strain takes around 10 or 11 weeks to complete flowering, the wait will be well worth it. Allowing these ladies to vegetate for no more than 3 weeks will give growers room in terms of height, when they are in late flowering. Letting this strain vegetate longer than 3 weeks is only recommended if the grower has adequate height in their grow room. Greenhouse cultivation isn't particularly recommended as they can be somewhat sensitive to powder mildew and bud rot without lots of ventilation. These ladies will also gobble up nutrients, so growers shouldn't hesitate to feed them plenty of nutes. Just be sure to give them a 3-week flush in order to get all the nutrients out and capture the incredible flavor of this strain.
