Dutchmen's Royal Orange Strain

Cannabissearch.com Buzz Rating: Flavors of skunk, hash and fruit permeate your taste buds on the inhale, followed by incredible smoke expansion in the lungs and a smooth, floral and danky exhale.
The father of this magnificent strain, Skunk #1 is a multi-continental cross of a pure Afghani strain and a Mexican x Colombian strain. The indica stature as well as Afghani and Skunk flavors are seen in Dutchmen’s Royal Orange. Its indica mother, California Orange, was acquired by a famous Dutch breeder in the 1980’s and bred with Skunk #1 to create the wondrous strain we now see today.
She boasts broad, dark, metallic and short leaves, typical of an indica while growing. She rewards those who cultivate her with tight, dense nugs and a heavy yield of quality medication. She also vegetates briefly and despite producing tight, dense buds, has an excellent resistance to moulds and other diseases. She flowers fairly long for an indica, around 9 to 11 weeks.
When you open a jar of Dutchmen’s Royal Orange, an aroma of sweet skunk, flowers and cedar will flood your nostrils with its pungently dank aroma. The taste is even better, being reminiscent of citrus, hash, skunk, with undertones of smooth flowers. This strain is not all that common in the Western United States, but when it is seen, it typically goes for between $50 and $55 per eighth.
